The predicted fall trends are as follows and I will provide my opinion on it, how fun!

Marie Claire has announced these are the new hot things for fall: Coats, Feathers, Fur, Green, Animal Print, Women’s Suits, No Pants, Fringe, Sheer,

To begin this off, why are coats on there? Like what? It is cold outside, so I put on a coat, I am so confused why that was mentioned because of course. That is like saying oh, summer prediction, bathing suits! Groundbreaking.

Feathers and Fur: I personally love feathers in fur but again they are warm. More so about the fur, it is one of the warmest textiles. But anyway, I love feathers being placed on pant hems, on arm cuffs, and my friend got a feather in her hair, and I thought it was so much fun! I have been totally for the fun outfits and feathers amp these up. I also think in Winter there are more options for clothing mash ups because you have more layers to work with.

Green: Ah yes, I was waiting for this one. People have been talking about green and now the shade gets its moment. This is going to be huge and was huge at several fashion weeks. It is the epitome of fall, and I cannot wait to see what everyone does with this. They even talked about a neon green being in the mix which I think in small doses would be fine but not my cup of tea.

No Pants: I feel like this trend has been coming slowly but surely because all I can think about is Paige Desorbo. She rocks everything she wears so I had to like this. I have tried a few times to pull this off, but I need to try again with statement coats and tights. I have to mention that there are hundreds of ways to make this trend look horrible, but I think if done right can be quite elegant.

Fringe: I have mixed feelings about fringe. I feel as if you are going to do fringe it would be in Fall I presume but I will say I don’t like the thick ribbon fringe. If you know I have a dress like this, but I no longer wear it and actually have since lost it. I have decided that that is okay. I feel like fringe has such short moments and when I did it, I was done. I am excited to see what people do with this because I do not think I will. But who knows!

Sheer: I like sheer. I rarely wear sheer, but cute for fall layering. Nothing much to say, not good or bad. I like it poking out under things rather than straight up bodying it but maybe I will join in.
