Now that I work, I have grown to love Rent the Runway more than I used to. Although, it does feel like a chore even picking things out. I have to dress presentable everyday which dwindles my closet a lot smaller than dressing up two or three times a week. Now it is more like 6 days a week. I have learned a lot about what to get that will be worth my while. Now that I do not have events like date nights and formals, it is easier to navigate.

Classic Bottoms: I have my jeans that I like, and my work pant staples, but it is fun to get a pinstripe, a poplin skirt, or a pop of color. As we are crossing seasons, it is nice to wear nice things without committing to the price tag during our transition to Fall.

Versatile Button-Downs: A closet staple for me, truly. I am on the hunt for a nice white button down, which I found however cannot afford quite yet. So, I order different versions of button downs every two weeks so not only have them for efficiency but try them out in hopes for a cheaper pick.

Maxi Dresses: These are the easiest things to find, fit, and wear countless times wherever and whenever. If I do not want to get dressed in the morning, what do I put on? A dress obviously. No thought put into it whatsoever. It is simply amazing.

I will be adding jackets to this list very soon and I cannot wait to pick out trench coats for Winter.

I have the two shipments a month plan, so I get to swap my clothes every two weeks which is nice. I also never really order jewelry because I am not a huge jewelry person, but I really am trying to up my personal collection. I have found this to be the most cost-efficient and ecofriendly way to maximize my closet. I have turned from statement pieces to capsule closet to go with my fun rent the runway finds.
